Enum Class ScopeOfValidity

java.lang.Object
java.lang.Enum<ScopeOfValidity>
org.palladiosimulator.metricspec.ScopeOfValidity
All Implemented Interfaces:
Serializable, Comparable<ScopeOfValidity>, Constable, Enumerator

public enum ScopeOfValidity extends Enum<ScopeOfValidity> implements Enumerator
A representation of the literals of the enumeration 'Scope Of Validity', and utility methods for working with them. We distinguish the scope of validity for a metric: a metric can either be discrete (only valid for the event the metric was measured) or continuous (for every point in time, the a valid measurement exists). Note for continuous option: we currently define that measurements are valid staring from the point they where taken until the next measurement is taken. This is, e.g., important for measurements that need to be aggregated over intervals. If this definition does not fit a use-case, discuss about redefining this definition.
